We’re excited to share some wonderful news for our First Grade families!

Ms. Pike, a long standing and beloved member of the SMEA faculty, will be returning to First Grade this year! While she has taught First Grade in the past, many of our youngest students know her from her most recent role in PreK, where her warmth, care, and experience made a lasting impact.

To make the start of the school year even stronger, Mrs. Olivieri, our new Academic Dean and a cornerstone of SMEA for nearly 30 years, will be teaming up with Ms. Pike for the first month of school. Mrs. Olivieri brings a wealth of First Grade expertise, ensuring a smooth, supported start while giving Ms. Pike the flexibility she needs as she continues to recover from a shoulder injury.

We’re so grateful for their dedication and teamwork, it’s going to be a fantastic year in First Grade!
